Lime Crime Magic Dust in Siren and Shoe Addict

Pigments - most beauty bloggers have a love-hate relationship with make-up pigments.  Why?  Because on the up, the pigment eyeshadow holds the key to really vibrant and bold colours, that really pop on the eye.  Whereas on the down, pigments can be messy due to being a loose powder and can be difficult to apply because of that fact.

I've always loved various pigments with Barry M's Dazzle Dusts being one of my favourite (as well as being cheap).  However, recently I've been looking for ultra vibrant colours that are much more basic, that is to say, in primary colours like yellow, red and blue.  I'm not looking for anything shimmery or too matt, and found the perfect combination in Lime Crime's Makeup.

I recently wrote a post to introduce my readers to Lime Crime Makeup, and would like to invite you to read it here if you fancy!

So with no further a do, here are the two pigments I've selected for review in picture format:

Code G10 - 'Siren'

Code G18 - 'Shoe Addict'

Swatches of the pigments, from left to right:  Siren (red) and Shoe Addict (blue)

My ultimate favourite is definitely the blue and the shimmer in both the red and blue powders are very slight but not too matt either.  These colours will pop even more if you use a good primer.  A tip from Lime Crime themselves is to wear the Lime Crime Magic Dusts over Lime Crime CandyEyed Eyeshadow Helper for extra-bright, long-lasting results!

These shadows are high-payoff, with a weightless formula designed to create vivid statement or subtle colour accents depending on your whimsy.

These products are vegan-friendly which means they are cruelty-free and never tested on real animals.

The Lime Crime Magic Dust retails at £12 and can be found at a few different retailers.
